Things to Do in California: Travelogues
Chillin' in Huntington Beach
Written by Nikki on Aug 11, 2008

For my husband's birthday, we stayed 3 days in Huntington Beach. The place has as much character as you would think - we met all sorts of people from surfers to soldiers. Renting bikes and riding up the coast is a must. Take a walk to the end of the famous pier, and grab breakfast at The Sugar Shack. Don't miss the little surf museum just around the corner - ask any local to point you in the right direction. If you visit in May, check the weather before you pack. It may be sunny California, but that Spring wind can sure be brisk!
