Christmas in San Francisco

One Christmas, my wife and I decided to blow off the kids and the rest of the family. Nah - just kidding. A few years ago, on a whim, we cashed in some frequent flyer miles and flew to San Francisco two weeks before Christmas. Everyone knows that the Holidays lend a certain magic to big cities - New York, London, and yes, San Francisco, too. Union Square was all lit up this night as my wife and I hunkered down to the serious business of blowing our credit cards sky high. Here Jane pauses on the threshold of Union Square Park. The lights, sounds and colors of the season were blazing all around us. It's an experience not to be missed. You might even want to bring the kids!
